The Expanded Harmony Set builds upon the foundational notes of a C major chord, adding a higher C to extend the harmony across two octaves.

This four-bowl collection includes:

Together, C, E and G form a complete C major chord. The addition of C5 repeats the root note one octave above C4, creating greater depth, continuity and range while maintaining a clear and cohesive harmonic foundation.

The lower C provides a grounded tonal centre. E introduces warmth and tonal colour, while G creates an open and stable relationship with the root. The higher C completes the collection by extending the harmony upward and connecting the lower and higher registers.
